Wood River PTA

The Wood River Parent Teacher Association (PTA) is a vital bridge between the home and the school. We are a passionate group of parents, teachers, and community members dedicated to ensuring the best possible educational and social environment for our children.

What We Do

Throughout the academic year, the Wood River PTA organizes and funds numerous programs, events, and initiatives that directly benefit the students and staff at Wood River Elementary. These include:

• Funding classroom grants for educational materials
• Organizing family engagement nights and community-building events
• Providing volunteer support for school-wide activities
• Supporting teacher appreciation efforts to recognize our dedicated educators

Our History

For years, the Wood River PTA has proudly served alongside the Calallen ISD community to promote excellence and create a bright future for our youth. We believe that when parents are involved in their children's education, students achieve more, schools perform better, and communities grow stronger.
